I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. I have always been on a mission for something bigger than myself and have always known I would teach something to someone, somewhere. I never thought it would be as rewarding of a feeling as it has been. Starting at the age of 14 years old I was assigned my first dance class of ten kids ages five to eight. At first, I thought,” How do I get their attention, and how am I going to teach them what I know.” It didn’t take me more than two class hours to figure that out. The kids quickly realized that I could do everything they wanted to do and that I knew how to teach them to do it. Knowing this made them all ears; and they learned fast because they were doing something they wanted to do and were having fun doing it!
I am an accomplished athlete and experienced coach, with expertise including gymnastics, cheer leading, football, basketball, volleyball, track, and modern dance. My passion is keeping kids motivated while building their skills, self-esteem, and confidence. I believe that the more fun we have learning a skill, the faster we learn! I am looking forward to working with all of the fabulous dancers at United Talent!
